About Maribel Alfaro
Maribel Alfaro is a licensed medical doctor in Mexico with over 18 years of experience in the
field. In addition to her medical degree, she earned her master’s in hypnosis from the Alphose
Luis Contant University in Mexico and has been re-certified by Center for Hypnotherapy in
Oakland, California.
Dra. Alfaro became interested in hypnosis after discovering the powerful role that alternative medicine plays in helping many people heal from a wide range of conditions. She experienced this firsthand when a family member fell into depression. After researching ways to help, Dr. Alfaro learned about chromotherapy, aromatherapy, herbs, music therapy, and acupressure and the role they played in helping people navigate the challenges of depression and other mental and physical conditions.
In her nearly two decades of practicing medicine, Dr. Alfaro understands that there is a strong connection between physical diseases and the emotional and mental state of her patients. As a hypnotherapist for four years, she has found that approximately 95% of physical diseases are a result of an emotional blockage. By helping her clients access their subconscious mind, she has been able to help her clients transform their lives by improving their overall well-being.
